Homemade Strawberry Fruit Roll-Ups
- 🌪️ High-speed blender or food processor
- 📄 Large baking sheet & parchment paper
- 🥄 Offset spatula or silicone spatula
- ✂️ Kitchen scissors or pizza cutter
-
1Add ingredients: Add 3.5 cups (500g) of fresh strawberries, 2 tbsp of chia seeds, and 1 tbsp of lemon juice into your blender.
-
2Blend smooth & rest: Blend all ingredients until completely smooth. Let the puree rest for 5–10 minutes so the chia seeds can thicken the mixture naturally.
-
3Spread onto tray: Pour the thickened fruit puree onto a large parchment-lined baking sheet and spread it evenly to about 2mm thickness.
-
4Bake and dehydrate: Bake at 200°F (90°C) for 3–4 hours, or until the fruit leather is completely dry to the touch and no longer sticky.
-
5Cool, slice & roll: Let the sheet cool completely to room temperature, slice into long strips using a pizza cutter or scissors, and roll them up tightly to serve!

- 🌱 Chia Seed Power: Chia seeds add dietary fiber, healthy fats, and help bind the fruit leather together without gelatin or pectin.
- 🍯 Optional Sweetener: If your fresh strawberries are slightly tart, feel free to blend in 1 tablespoon of raw honey or pure maple syrup.
- 📦 Storage: Store the rolled strips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week, or in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
