Garlic Parmesan Chicken Bites
- 🍳 Large heavy-bottom skillet
- 🔪 Sharp knife & cutting board
- 🥣 Medium mixing bowl
- 🥄 Tongs or spatula
-
1Prep & Season Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Cut into small, even bite-sized pieces. In a medium bowl, toss the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until every piece is evenly coated.
-
2Sear Chicken: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Place the seasoned chicken bites in a single layer and let them sear untouched for 2–3 minutes. Stir and cook for another 4–5 minutes until deeply golden brown and cooked through.
-
3Add Garlic & Butter: Lower the heat to medium and add the unsalted butter. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant (be careful not to burn the garlic).
-
4Coat with Sauce: Add the fresh lemon juice and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Toss the chicken quickly so the melted cheese and butter form a light, glossy glaze around each piece.
-
5Finish & Serve: Sprinkle in the remaining Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley. Toss once more until thoroughly coated, glossy, and cheesy. Serve immediately while hot and juicy!

- 🧄 Garlic Burning Tip: Always lower the heat before adding the minced garlic. Garlic burns quickly at high temperatures and becomes bitter.
- 🧀 Freshly Grated Parmesan: Freshly grated Parmesan from a block melts much better into a velvety glaze compared to pre-shredded canned cheese.
- 🍋 Lemon Juice Balance: Fresh lemon juice cuts through the richness of the butter and Parmesan, keeping the dish light and vibrant.
